Melissa Cetola, a Coldwell Banker Advantage REALTOR, transitioned from a career in education to real estate a decade ago when she and her family moved to the Triangle area, drawn by a desire to have a more direct impact on people's lives.

With a background in Psychology and English, Melissa approaches real estate with a focus on empathy, communication, and problem-solving, which are all things she credits to her teaching background. "It really helped," said Melissa, when discussing how her past impacted her career in real estate. "You have to be constantly on, energetic, supportive, and nurturing. It also helped me deal with different personalities as well as solving problems and thinking on my feet."

Melissa's commitment to excellence in real estate is evident through her dedication to putting clients first. She values genuine relationships and emphasizes communication and education throughout the real estate process, particularly for clients unfamiliar with North Carolina's intricacies, such as Due Diligence.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Melissa is deeply involved in her community, participating in nonprofits dedicated to animal welfare. Her love for dogs extends beyond personal pets, reflecting her broader commitment to making a positive impact beyond the realm of real estate.
